Small Group Classes

Yoga Bromley

I teach small group yoga classes (max 8 people) and one-to-one yoga therapy in a bespoke yoga space at my home near Bickleigh. 

 * As my studio space is only just opening, I am beginning with a few classes and will hopefully add more over time. If the current class times do not suit you please do check back.

 

The studio:

The studio was designed with great love, and very  careful consideration to the therapeutic setting. Nestled into green surroundings, bathed in natural light, and painted in soft colours, it also offers overhead windows to observe rain drops and drifting clouds, and panoramic views over the Exe Valley. The studio provides a stunning and therapeutic location for practicing yoga.  

There is also an outdoor yoga deck, allowing for both indoor and outdoor practices during the warmer months.

The classes:

Many people can feel intimidated by yoga classes - worried they wont be able to do it, concerned about large classes and getting left behind, or anxious they may be asked to do poses they don't feel ready for.  My classes are small to ensure that people get the attention they need to develop their confidence.  I encourage people to notice how their body,  energy, emotions, and mind feel during each class and adjust their practice however feels best. There is absolutely no need to do every pose, and there is no need to flexible/strong/coordinated/balanced; come as you are.

My classes are open to all abilities including beginners,

however classes are usually a strong flow as I believe this is optimal for strengthening both body and mind.  My classes are a flow style; combining dynamic movement, longer holds, conscious breathing, and mindful awareness. 

I also offer a weekly softer flow class.  This is suitable for anyone who would prefer a more gentle class, or for those living with health conditions or injuries. 

 

If you are living with chronic conditions such as chronic pain, chronic fatigue, MS, Parkinsons please do message me in advance as it may be that one-to-one sessions would be more beneficial. I have found it is much easier for the mind to push the body too far when in group settings.

Monday 

6.30 - 7.45 pm Strong flow

Tuesday 

9.30 - 10.45 am Soft flow

Wednesday 

9.30 - 10.45 am Strong flow

Friday 

9.30 - 10.45 am Strong flow

All classes are 75 minutes long, and £13
